PARENT COUNCIL

 

The school has recently established a Parent Council which will actively seek opportunities to promote the work of the school and discuss a range of issues connected with the school itself and with wider community concerns too. 

 

The Parent Council is a representative group of all parents who have children in school.  Each parent is automatically part of the School Forum.  The Parent Council will meet regularly to discuss how to support the school and to engage parents more fully in the work of the school.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Currently the Parent Council has representation from Nursery to Primary 6.  We would welcome more members!  Ideally we would like representation for every stage in school.

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE

 

The fundraising enthusiasts from the Parent body have established themselves in a sub committee of the Parent Council.  This group will continue to plan, arrange and conduct fundraising activities for parents and children to help finance a range of materials to support and encourage children’s learning and enjoyment in school.
